Help us finish our renovation of a sun drenched, haven on the north shore.
Kia ora!
We are Lucy and Reece and we live in Hillcrest on Auckland’s North Shore with our new baby girl, Dylan. Reece is a builder and I’m an artist and over the past five years we’ve been slowly transforming our home into a peaceful, sunny haven near the city.
After being part of the Workaway community during our travels, we’re now opening our home to someone who can join us in the last stage of the renovation, helping with a mix of small building jobs, landscaping, painting and general finishing work around our home.
Reece is at work during the week and I would be super keen to have an extra pair of hands to help me (and Dylan) get a few things finished. There is plenty of space to have privacy or join us for chill evenings. We have a spa and a pizza oven for cosy nights coming into winter and we're close to public transport for exploring in downtime. -

Reece is a very experienced builder and great teacher so after work or on weekends he can share skills. I am around during the day, also an experienced renovator and painter so happy to teach, assist. We've both travelled a lot and have been based in Auckland for 16 years. We are 8 minutes drive from Takapuna beach, under 20 to the city centre so there is lots to explore or see maybe as a base between travels.

We live in a quiet suburb on the North Shore of Auckland. We love being here because it has beautiful beaches, a mild climate and lots of gorgeous bush tracks just on the outskirts of the city.
