Hello there,

Hope you are doing great. :)

If you have come for a visit, it means we have reached out because we find your place intriguing and would very much like to contribute in any way we can to help start, further improve or finalize your projects.

As you are opening your home, providing food and sharing your knowledge with us, it is of course natural that you should know what you will get in return for your kindness and sharing.
In this sense we will introduce ourselves as a couple, as well as individually give an introduction to what we can contribute with in this equal trade and sharing of culture, knowledge and work.

We are Kim & Fafa for short, and have been a couple for just over 6 years now.
Some time ago Kim proposed on top of a mountain in France, so we are now engaged and looking forward to a lifetime of adventures together, and with workaway there are endless possibilities for this.

Our story starts 6 years ago in Athens, Greece, and as we met just before Covid started, our first adventure was camping in Peloponnese as we decided there was very good reason to avoid lockdown in a big city and enjoyed this time in the countryside, experiencing the most bizarre and beautiful things, and will of course share these stories and many more from the other countries we visited together, such as France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands and Germany.

We are now looking for some friendly hosts and to contribute, connect and exchange culture, stories, laughs and wonderful times in a winter paradise close to the Alps or other magical mountains in this region.

Kim,
has an extensive academic and professional background in international business and management, and chose to quit this busy business life working from 7-8AM to 9PM for many years, and to pursue travels, exploring, adventures and getting to know other values, ways of living and perspectives in life.
After some years of travelling, he met Fahimeh, and also turning into a Digital Nomad.
With some experience from younger days and through the travels with workaway, living in communities and helping out friendly neighbours, he gained quite a bit experience, knowledge and skills to do everything from building outdoor toilets, farming, landscaping, painting, renovation, building, wood work, any kind of DIY and a also have a general good knowledge all round after many years of learning by doing this together with professionals.


Fafa,
have a MSc in Marketing with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and are these days studying Business German and currently on a B2 level.
In work she also have a wide variety of skillsets, including repairing furniture, DIY, gardening and is not afraid to take on new challenges.
She is also a very good organizer.

Gastronomy/Cooking:
We both love cooking, and especially together with each other, or in communities and larger groups.
From early childhood (7 years old), Kim was cooking for his family, as the family had a quite busy and sporty lifestyle with training and competitions on a daily basis; and from moving out at the age of 18 he has been experimental cooking the past 20+ years. Favourite food is Mexican and spicy dishes, hamburgers, and nice hearty stews in the autumn and winter.
Fahimeh also learned a lot growing up and in later years, making amazing Persian dishes and also bakes some absolutely lovely cakes and other tasty baked treats (which her darling is very happy about:)).

Everywhere we go we are complimented for being such a cute good couple, always smiling, being friendly, trying to be funny (and sometimes are), and never complain.

We have both a long and varied background both from outdoor chores, such as chopping wood, wood work, farm work, gardening, landscaping, DIY; and also quite a bit of experience and a solid academic background in international business, marketing and administration, and whatever your wants or needs may be, we will try to assist in the best possible way. Just ask and you will get a very friendly explanation of our level and experience in the given task.
