Hi!
My name is Kateřina, I'm 26 years old and I come from the Czech Republic. I'm an almost-graduated student of veterinary medicine, and I plan to travel the world a bit after completing my studies. I'm always excited to meet new people, discover different cultures, and explore new places.

I'm an adventurous type at heart, always seeking out new experiences in the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking through mountains, sleeping under the stars, or sitting by a fireplace surrounded by nature, I feel most at home when exploring the countryside. I also love animals and care deeply about animal welfare.

I really enjoy bringing value to others, so I would describe myself as a hard-working person. I'm very excited about this new Workaway experience!

I would be happy to support a sustainability project, be part of a community, or help at an animal shelter or on a farm.

Last year, I visited Southeast Asia and participated in several Workaways. I worked at an animal shelter and yoga camp in the Philippines, on a farm in Vietnam, and at an animal clinic in Thailand! See the Feedback section for more information.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I specialize in veterinary medicine and animal care, and I'm also comfortable with farm work. I worked as a laboratory technician and teaching assistant at my university. In my free time, I volunteer for a non-profit organization that represents animal rights, where I help plan local projects and manage our Facebook page.

I also have experience in other areas. During some summers, I worked as a part-time gardener and field worker. I also worked in the food service industry, with experience in a bar, tea, and coffee house. I've also worked in a supermarket, in the markets and done some administrative work in an office setting. I believe that my range of skills and experiences makes me adaptable to different types of Workaway jobs. I'm just happy to help with anything that needs to be done!
