My name is Kate, I come from the Blue Mountains in Australia.

I've done many different volunteering project around Europe and Indonesia.
and really love meeting people from other countries.

My passion is building and working on ecological projects.
I have over seven years of experience with renovating, tiling, carpentry, eco building- cob, strawbale, wattle & daub, aircrete. And a little bit of plumbing work.

And also experience in Permaculture, irrigation systems and animal care.

My experience also includes photograpy & marketing.

We really enjoyed our time at Toms he is a really interesting & chilled out guy. We ended up staying a few months, way longer than expected.
The work was nice and varied, he appreciates your input and beach is a beautiful area.

We really loved our stay with Françoise & Dada, we came for two weeks and stayed for five. They are very thoughtful and caring people with an exuberance for life that is infectious.
We really enjoyed ping pong & music nights, and fell in love with here which is a nature paradise away from the usual rat race.

Kate and WIllem stayed in our cabin for 5 weeks. We found them to be willing, respectful and helpful. Willem took on many tasks from mowing/brushcutting to cutting/trimming bamboo, weeding, removing Lantana and helping with the dome. Kate was great to have here. She is happy and easy going. Do not be fooled by Kate's size, she is a good and Strong worker and was sanding and moving wooden beams when she was here, in addition to gardening and lots of other stuff. I had a great time on the farm in Mullumbimbi, the surrounding area and Dave's property in the mountains are really beautiful places to spend time!!
Dave is a friendly and chilled out host and a thoughtfull boss.
Very much enjoyed our of an evening and hope to go back some time

Kate was amazing!
Doing more than was ever expected of her!
Her skills in renovation were incredible!
She can plaster, tile, wood work, paint, mend things.....the list is endless!
She was great company and cooked too AND was an animal lover!
What more can you want!

The time on the farm with Tina and Kev was one of the Best experiences in my 3 years abroad!!
They're very welcoming hosts and the work is varied and interesting.
some of my favorite things where picking wild mushrooms in the hills, goat herding, Eco Building and hours of good company in the evenings.

Katherine was and absolute marvel. She built us the most fantastic wall, was brilliant around the house and farm and if she offers to help you I would have no hesitation in recommending her. In short she gets the Eco lifestyle and is a real delight.
