Hi there!

I arrived in Japan August 2022 and am currently an English teacher in Ishikari, Hokkaido.

From my past experiences travelling, I found commuting from one spot to another on the itinerary didn't allow me to slow down and truly experience the present. Through workaway, I hope to explore and connect with the community around me.

I enjoy DIY projects like crocheting, art, sewing, and am open to learning anything new. I also like cooking, sports, hiking, and spending time in nature.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up in Hong Kong and Canada so I'm bilingual in Cantonese and English.
I can also speak basic Mandarin and Japanese.

I have 10 years of volunteer and work experience with children as a youth leader in my previous church, an english teacher, and behaviour interventionist.

I can cook and bake. Some things I like making are pasta, Korean and Japanese food.

I'm pretty crafty. DIY and crafts are something I've always been passionate about. I don't know much about DIY projects around the house but I'm open to learning!

For anything I'm not familiar with, I think I'm a quick learner and can problem solve well from working in the service industry.

I enjoy being active through hiking, gymming, and volleyball. I also enjoy relaxing in nature or playing boards games like Catan, Dutch Blitz, etc.
