Description
I love the outdoors - skiing, surfing, hiking, camping. I’m currently on a long term trip in Asia with my partner. As we travel I am eager to learn how to cook local cuisine while she focuses on photography and design. We both love new adventures and meeting new people. When we return to the US, we hope to buy some land a begin a hobby farm.

I had my own granola bar company for 5 years, then transitioned to helping grow a compost company. I can help on the business side of things, but I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I have some experience in masonry and construction and love to cook.
Kelly has been an elementary school teacher specializing in reading for the past 10 years. She is currently interested in exploring her love for design and decor.
We both spend as much time outdoors as we can. We can ride a horse, harvest crops, clean a house, but most importantly we’re eager to learn.

We would love to open a farm or restaurant or something in the agro-tourism space. We’d love to learn best practices from other cultures to balance the American approach. We are quick learners and willing to go above and beyond to help. We like to add more than we take with every experience.

We stayed at the place for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience. It was our first Workaway and I'm afraid it set the bar too high. Al is very helpful with all needs and the farm managers are the absolute best.
