Description
Hi! I’m Jun from South Korea. I’m a university student studying Construction Systems Engineering at Ajou University, and I recently finished my military service. Before returning to university in March 2027, I decided to take some time to travel through Spain and Portugal on my own.
I’m looking forward to experiencing Spain and Portugal not just as a tourist, but by becoming part of local life.
I’m especially interested in staying with local people, learning about their everyday lives, meeting people from different backgrounds, and experiencing things I would never discover on a normal tourist trip. I’d love to stay somewhere for a while, help with daily work, learn new things, and share my own culture and experiences as well.
I’m happy to help with farming, gardening, taking care of animals, cleaning, maintenance, simple construction work, physical work, or anything else where I can be useful. I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty, and I’m always willing to learn things I’ve never done before.
I’m an easygoing, curious, and open-minded person. I enjoy talking with others, listening to their stories, sharing meals, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. I also respect other people’s space and way of life, and I’m happy to adapt to different environments.
I hope this trip will be more than just seeing beautiful places. I want to meet people, experience everyday life, learn from each other, and make meaningful memories along the way.
I’m really looking forward to meeting you and becoming part of your daily life! -

I’m a native Korean speaker, and I’m currently improving my English. I’m also very interested in learning Spanish and Portuguese during my trip. I’d love to practice languages through everyday conversations with local people and other travelers rather than only studying from books. I believe that talking with people is one of the best ways to learn a language and understand a different culture. I’m also happy to help others learn Korean and share Korean expressions, food, and stories about life in Korea. I think language is a wonderful way to connect with people, exchange experiences, and understand different cultures. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have experience with driving, basic maintenance, physical work, and teamwork through my military service in South Korea. I also study Construction Systems Engineering at Ajou University, so I’m interested in construction, tools, buildings, and practical hands-on work.
I’m comfortable with outdoor and physical work, and I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I’m happy to help with gardening, cleaning, organizing, carrying things, basic maintenance, simple construction tasks, and other general work. I’m also willing to help with cooking and everyday household chores.
Although I may not have experience with every task, I’m a quick learner and always willing to listen, learn new skills, and try new things. I take responsibility for my work and do my best to complete every task properly.
I enjoy working with others, contributing to a team, and learning practical skills that I can use in everyday life. -

Autres infos...
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, walking, hiking, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading and writing, especially when I have some quiet time to reflect on things.
I’m interested in different cultures and the everyday lives of people in other countries. One of the things I’m most looking forward to on this trip is meeting new people, sharing meals, listening to their stories, and learning how people live in different places.
I’d also be happy to share Korean food, language, and stories about Korea with my host and other Workawayers. I enjoy exploring new places, having meaningful conversations, and learning from people with different perspectives.
I believe that some of the best travel experiences come from ordinary moments, like working together, sharing a meal, or having a conversation at the end of the day.
I’m always happy to try something new, lend a hand where I can, and make meaningful memories with the people I meet along the way. -

I learned how to manage the forest after wildfires, went swimming, and hiked two beautiful mountains with breathtaking views. They even lent me an electric bike and kindly picked me up by car whenever I needed help.
