Hello everybody!
We are Nico and Julia and have a happy relationship since eight years. We are born and raised in a rather rural area in Germany. In our free time, one of us likes to read and write. The other likes to do sports and to meet with friends. At the moment, we are living together and had the idea to travel after our studies. We would love to travel across America, starting in South America to North America. Our motivation behind our desire to travel is to learn about other cultures and languages, gain new skills, meet nice people, see something from the world outside of Europe, learn about different foods, and would be happy to help other people while our travels as well. We both have calm, friendly and social personalities. One of us is more extrovert, the other more introvert. But in the end we balance each other out well and make a good team.

Somos Nico y Julia y tenemos una relación feliz desde hace ocho años. Nacimos y crecimos en una zona bastante rural en Alemania. En nuestro tiempo libre, a uno de nosotros le gusta leer y escribir. Al otro le gusta hacer deporte y encontrarse con amigos. Por el momento, estamos viviendo juntos y teníamos la idea de viajar después de nuestros estudios. Nos encantaría viajar por América, comenzando por América del Sur hasta América del Norte. Nuestra motivación detrás de nuestro deseo de viajar es aprender sobre otras culturas e idiomas, adquirir nuevas habilidades, conocer gente agradable, ver algo del mundo fuera de Europa, aprender sobre diferentes alimentos y estar encantados de ayudar a otras personas mientras viajamos como bien. Ambos tenemos personalidades tranquilas, amigables y sociales. Uno de nosotros es más extrovertido, el otro más introvertido. Pero al final nos equilibramos bien y formamos un buen equipo.

We are intermediate in speaking Spanish, but we are really interested in learning to understand and speak the language more. We do not have much experience in teaching languages, but we can imagine to try to help others with learning English or German.

Hi! My name is Nico and I graduated university with a bachelor as a social worker. I really like working with people. I already worked in the gastronomy/event managing, in the kitchen, in the nursing service, in a children's home and in assisted living for mentally ill people. In the past, I also engaged in unsalaried services and internships in the work with people.
I have basic gardening skills because I regularly help my grandma with her big countryside property and have interest for growing plants and vegetables. Futhermore, I have proper strengh and am able to carry heavy stuff. I also like to train with weights and love to cook.
Hello! My name is Julia and I graduated university with a bachelor in educational science and English studies. Before our travels, I worked in two kindergardens and love the work with children in general. In my neighborhood, I liked to babysit the children. I do not have experience with teaching, but I could imagine to teach English and German to other people or children. Furthermore, I am quite skilled in writing, as I am writing novels in my free time. Because I design my own book covers, I have some experience in computer designing. Moreover, I have some experience in the gastronomy and worked as a waiter.
We have been on the trip for 3 months now and have already gained some experience. We have already supported and led English classes in a school, as well as independently run an afternoon care program with a wide variety of activities for indigenous children.
