Hello!

I'm Julia, a 25 years old brazilian who spent the last 3 years studying japanese in Tokyo.
Since I just graduated, I decided to explore the aussie culture a little bit more, so from March my husband and I will be arriving in Cairns holding the Working and Holiday Visa.

I love sports (as a good brazilian, I looove soccer!) and also one of my hobbies is cooking. I really enjoy exploring all kinds of cousine and learning how to prepare new dishes.

About my husband and travel mate Igor, he is also brazilian and spent his last 4 years in Tokyo/Japan studying and working. He is a mechanical designer, he is always improving his skills and learning new ones. He is kind, patient and veeery hard working, and loves new challenges.

We both are ready to this backpack lifestyle, to embrace the a new culture and learn new things along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Igor and I had the privilege of exploring various job opportunities and we learned a lot from them. I worked as a barista and bartender, so (even tho I don't drink much), I know how to prepare a few cocktails and coffees. And Igor, he is a fit and very active person who is always helping around.
We both love preparing new foods from different cuisines, that is our hobby in commom.
We both can speak and teach portuguese and Japanese, so if you are interested, we can teach you a few things that we've learned in these years living in Brazil and Japan.

We love kids and animals and we are very friendly, hardworking, and organized.

This is our first time in Australia. We are dedicated to working hard to enhance our English skills, but more importantly, we are eager to immerse ourselves in Australian culture. We approach this experience with complete open-mindedness and flexibility, always mindful not to inconvenience others. Even in areas where our skills may be insufficient, we are committed to putting forth our best efforts to learn and contribute effectively.
