Hi, I'm Jule from Germany. This February I started my backpacker trip in Mexico (Baja California). My plan is to travel south through all the countries of Central & South America to tierra del fuego.

Hi, I'm Jule. I am 19 years old and I was born and raised in Germany.
I'm an open, friendly and calm person. Moreover, I'm a nature lover, enjoy hiking, cycling and canoeing and love swimming. I like to play the piano, the guitar and the ukulele, read, sing and do creative things. I'm also a scout and vegetarian. I love to travel, meet new people and cultures, learn new lenguages and discover the world.

I am very interested and enjoy improving my language skills and learning new languages because I think they are the key to understand other people and cultures and are of course very important when traveling. Of course, I am also happy to pass on my language skills and teach the languages I speak to others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I don't have that much knowledge and skills yet because I've just finished school, but I'm very enthusiastic about learning and trying new things and will always do my best.
But I have done two work placements so far: one (two weeks, 2022) at a Caritas office for migration and integration, where I accompanied various multicultural groups, helped with language courses and supervised creative groups. The other work placement (one week, 2021) was with a gardening and landscaping company, where I learned how to lay turf, pave and maintain gardens.
Moreover I like doing creative things and enjoy drawing and have tried pretty much all other creative craft activity (embroidery, sewing, macramé, hand lettering,...).
I am very interested in languages and am enthusiastic about improving my language skills and learning new languages and will of course be happy to teach others the languages I speak if they are interested.
I'm also a girl scout, so I know my way around nature quite well. My whole family are scouts too, so our family holidays were always quite adventurous: donkey trekking, horse-drawn carriage rides, camel rides in the desert, canoeing, hiking, bike tours,... so I'm used to a lot, very adaptable and not demanding.
During my travels, I mainly worked in Hostels (Cleaning, Reception, Gardening,…).

I'm an open, friendly, a bit quiet but humorous person, I love the nature and its protection is very important to me. I especially love the sea and all the animals that live in it. I also love music and to travel around the world, meet new people and cultures and discover new countries and places.
