Description

I am a student and live a very active lifestyle. I'm an open book with an open mind. I enjoy playing basketball and cycling. My other hobbies include reading, writing, and hiking. I have a preference for comedy movies and coming-of-age novels. My plan is to use my time off from school to explore different cultures and build up my Spanish speaking skills. I have experience volunteering with children, in sporting events, small construction projects, and as a liaison. I am a success driven individual who takes pride in what I bring to every group project. I take instruction well and enjoy learning from a good guide. I'm excited to share my strengths where they're needed.

Courageous: I've stepped into many roles in my volunteering journey and the key to my success was having the confidence to approach tasks with a steadfast attitude. I always make a good effort to understand what is being asked of me. With the ability to trust in my training I am able to handle roles of responsibility and accomplish my work in an effective and timely manner.

Communication: A strength of mine is my understanding of interpersonal communication and how it contributes to the effectiveness of a project. A positive attitude and healthy rapport is essential to working alongside others and providing a service to others. My ability allows me to be responsive and adaptable.

Team Work: I have a deep understanding of what it means to be a part of a team and how a team comes together to fulfill a duty. Whether tasked to work alone or cooperatively, I value the work I complete as a part of a larger project. I lead with a charisma that adds to the productiveness of the team as a whole. I've never shied away from extending my help to my team members in order to see that the job gets done and the job gets done well.
