Description

I am a world traveler who is passionate about teaching and learning.

My most recent teaching experience has been the donation of traditional Thai therapy instruction to members of a blind association in Morocco.

My current passion is learning Euskara (Basque language).

I have experience teaching in many subject fields - including Beginner-to-Advanced Guitar, English Grammar & Composition and Traditional Thai Therapy.

I have a passion for teaching and life-long learning.

My first teaching job was as a part-time guitar instructor while I was completing my Master's degree in the Humanities and the Arts. I started with only 3 students, and by the time I finished my graduate degree, I had over 40 students. This experience confirmed my calling to be a teacher.

After completing a second Master's degree in Education and Curriculum Development, I began teaching on the college and university level - including required General Education subjects such as English Grammar & Composition, Music & Art Appreciation, as well as, a variety of introductory courses in History and the Humanities.

During my summer breaks from teaching, I began learning alternative medicine and traditional healing practices in Thailand, and after many years of study, I became a full-time practitioner and teacher.

After teaching both in the United States and internationally, I began donating traditional Thai therapy instruction to blind communities around the world - including Cuba, Greece, Turkey, and most recently, Morocco.
