SEARCHING FOR HOSTS IN AN ITINERANT BOAT AS AN HELPER/AU PAIR IN THE CARAÏBES SEA 2024/2025

Yes, it looks very precise, but I have no rush and really want to try to find the good host(s) for me. I almost did it this year, but plans changed. I have no skills in boats but I feel open in learning. To be completely honest, my main interest it’s to discover the Caraïbes islands. No shame on telling it, is such an interesting region ! If you are a family, I will be very happy to help with the kids, organisation, cooking, teaching, playing board games or to do anything needed to take care of the boat and crew ! I like to meet new people and will be happy to talk english/spannish or learn a new language (particularly interested in Portuguese and Italian).

About me : I grew up in the country side in the South of France (near Lourdes in the Pyrenées mountains) and I was living in the South West (Pays Basque) where I worked as a pediatric nurse. Now (January 2024) I am back to France after a one year solo travel around the world (amazing !). First doing holidays camps as a leader and probably soon back to nurse cares.
I’m a curious and open mind person who likes nature and outside activities as well as cultural ones. I like cinema, analogic photography, board games, exhibitions, books, to cook, langages, to ski, to hike, babyfoot, table tennis, and a lot of other great entertainment !… I am learning to surf, skate and snowboard. I have done my first level of PADI. Also, I am a holidays camp leader since my 17 (when I have enough days off). I really like to discover new places, people, to learn and have original experiences. I am full of energy !

Some values that are important for me are the respect of environment/ecology, the non discrimination of any people and the freedom of expression.

I tried volontaring in Irland 2 years ago (in a backpacker hostel) and really enjoy it. I have done again 3 others volontaries in Canada. One in a beer brewery for a festival of music and beer, and 2 others in families with a permaculture farm/garden and lots of kids. One more in Japan, where I staid in a family who try to be self sufficient. I learnt a lot and discovered interesting cultures. Most of it, I met such great people ! ☀️
