Hello! ,

My name is Johnny. I’m a nomadic artist, chef, and community-centered creator traveling the world through food, culture, and shared experience. For over a decade I’ve cooked for festivals, artist residencies, retreats, and cultural gatherings while working in event production and multimedia arts.

I create meals the way I create art: as communal experiences. I love working with local ingredients, learning regional techniques, and cooking for people as a way to understand a place from the inside out. Along the way, I’ve cooked for communities in Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, India, Laos, and across the United States.

Right now, I’m traveling as part of my long-term project called SaiTera—a global dinner experiment exploring how food connects people across cultures and time zones. I’m seeking Workaway opportunities where I can contribute through cooking, helping with events, assisting with community projects, or supporting general tasks around a home or space.

I’m adaptable, calm, reliable, and genuinely curious about how people live. My goal is simple: cook good food, learn deeply, exchange culture, and help create a sense of home wherever I land.
