Hey, I’m Jaron!
I’m 19 years old and just finished my Abitur in Germany. I’m planning to study Economics with a focus on macroeconomics and monetary policy in August of 2027.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time on or in the water — I am a licensed lifeguard, have been sailing for about 10 years and love everything about open water. Due to this fascination, I decided to spend 7 months abroad with 33 other students on a Tall Ship, crossing the Atlantic twice. During this time I was involved in the everyday life aboard on a ship including tasks such as cleaning, cooking and 6 hours of watch duty every day.
I’m easy to live with, pretty self-sufficient, and genuinely curious about people and places. I travel on a hostel budget and appreciate simple, honest experiences over comfort.
I’m a reliable, motivated person who takes initiative. Happy to help with outdoor tasks, sailing, or whatever else you need.
Concerning languages: I am fluent in German, speak most of English, some Spanish and motivated to learn any new language.
I run my own small web design and development business on the side, so if your host project ever needs a website refresh, I might just be your guy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve spent a lot of time on and around water — 10 years of sailing experience, including 7 months aboard a tall ship crossing the Atlantic twice, plus a lifeguard license. I’m used to physical, hands-on work outdoors and comfortable with basic boat maintenance, knot-tying, and watch-keeping routines.
On the practical side, I can handle cleaning and general upkeep, and stay reliable even with repetitive or physically demanding tasks.
I also run my own small web design and development business, so I am happy to help if a host project could use a simple website. On a personal level, I train calisthenics and I’m generally self-sufficient, adaptable to new environments and shared responsibilities from life on board.
Languages: German (native), English (fluent), and some Spanish (basic, a bit rusty).
