Hello there!

We are Jan (23) and Medea (24) – a creative, open-minded and travel-enthusiastic couple from Austria. Originally we are from Tyrol and moved to Salzburg three years ago.
Stepping away from our study routines for some time is something we’re really looking forward to — starting our first Workaway adventure feels exciting. Art, handcrafts, and building things are passions we both share.

Jan is a passionate woodworker. He started his carpentry apprenticeship at 15 and has worked in different companies and countries to expand his skills. Before beginning his studies in Woodtechnology, he also worked professionally on custom camper van interiors.

Medea is doing a Master’s degree in MultiMediaArt with a focus on communication design – she loves everything connected to graphic design, art, photography and marketing.

Both of us grew up as older siblings in large families, so taking care of kids has always been a natural part of our lives.

Being outdoors — hiking, surfing, discovering new places — and connecting with people from different cultures brings us a lot of joy.

We are very excited to bring our skills, energy and creativity to our next Workaway adventure.
