Hi- I’m Jami! I’m from the US but I love traveling and volunteering all over the world. At home, I work seasonally as a horse wrangler on a guest ranch. In my time off I love to travel and work with animals around the world and get to know people from all different backgrounds. Some of my hobbies are reading, hiking, listening to music, scuba diving, dancing, petting the nearest animal, horse riding, and exploring whatever area I am in. I’m a hard worker, a kind person, and I have a great sense of humor. I look forward to having more amazing experiences, meeting good people, and making some awesome memories through Workaway!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have an extensive background working with horses. I’ve worked professionally in the equine industry for 6 years now doing a pretty wide variety of jobs, from teaching western riding and guiding trail rides in the Rocky Mountains, to driving horse-drawn sleighs, to taking safari rides in Namibia, to schooling horses in Zimbabwe, to jumping in Chile, and more. I have also worked in the hospitality industry for about 8 years now, so I’m well-versed in working with people. In addition, I have spent about 5 months volunteering and interning with wildlife in Africa and a month and a half rehabilitating monkeys in the Bolivian jungle. I’ve also spent a bit of time working reception at a hostel in Mexico. I’m very passionate about working with both animals and people.
