Hey! I'm Jamahl - I'm from London and I've been working at a university for the past few years, managing labs, helping to keep people safe and things running smoothly. I'm pretty hands-on and organised, and I like to keep spaces tidy, organised and set up for everyone.

I'm used to solving big and small problems, helping people learn new things and working as part of a team. I'm also good at taking initiative and figuring things out when needed.

Outside of work, I'm active and like travelling and being outdoors - I go to the gym, cycle and have recently taken up surfing. I'm travelling around Latin America to learn Spanish, explore new cultures and make connections along the way.

I'm happy to help out with things like:
• General maintenance or DIY tasks
• Gardening or outdoor projects
• Teaching or practising English (CELTA Certified)
• Tech or computer help

I'm easygoing, respectful and always up to learn something new.

I stayed with Verónica for 2 months and I loved my experience with her, her family and all the kids at the school.

I stayed in a shared apartment with other volunteers. I had my own room and everything nice, clean and well maintained when I arrived. I felt so comfortable during my whole stay, couldn’t ask for more.

Jamahl is such a nice guy, we had him for almost 2 months. He was sweet, helpful, kind and committed.
Students enjoyed having classes with him. Staff also had a wonderful time having him around.
We'll definitely miss him and hope he comes back one day.

Durante las 2 casi 3 semanas que compartimos jamahl, fue muy respetuoso, siempre pendiente de poder servir y aportar, cocinó una rica comida de su tierra para nosotros, compartimos historias compartió con nuestra hija y siempre tenía una muy buena disposición. gracias esperamos que vaya bien el viaje y que si regresas volvamos a coincidir
