Hi all! I'm Jess - someone who loves adventure, connection and above all, kindness.

I am taking a gap semester from my studies in Interior Architecture to do some exploring and soul searching on a budget- hoping to make connections and contribute to some exciting projects!

Get to know me better:
- I would describe myself as genuine, friendly and quite funny once you get to know me:) I enjoy meeting new people but am naturally introverted so I use my alone time to recharge when my social battery runs out.
- Outdoor activities such as hiking, running and photography are what I like to do when in the countryside/ mountains. I also value a happy balance of days in a town or city to gain a better understanding of the culture, food and vibes!
- Back home, I work in design and sales so my passion lies in interior design (keeping things organised and tidy is my forte) but I also have a good understanding of marketing and social media (as you must in this digital age).

Some things that make life feel euphoric to me are the smell of fresh rain, the time after sunset when the sky is dark but the earth is a fading yellow hue and watching a kid on the train offer his seat to an elderly lady. Really just anything involving beauty in the unexpected and imperfect.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm currently studying Interior Architecture so my passion lies in DIY, styling, painting, renovation, interior design and architecture.

I have experience renovating, styling, furniture design & fabrication, creating floor plans and renders for a few properties in Australia - I would love to help out with any work related to this field!

I'm an enthusiastic and quick learner who is proactive, so I'd be keen to try my hand at most tasks:)) For me, it is more about the people I work with and being in a positive environment.

My love for creative expression and working with my hands drives my interests in art, furniture and photography - all aspects I practise regularly.

In my free time, I feed my obsession with psychology and true crime through listening to some spooky podcasts. I'm taking a gap semester before completing my course in Interior Architecture so I am also very passionate about design & architecture!

I also enjoy reading, running and sport - I play field hockey, soccer and volleyball back home🏑
