Hi! I'm Ilja, 27 years old, and I'm from the north of the Netherlands, where I live with my husband. In 2018-2019, I lived in China for six months, teaching English to children. It was an amazing experience! I love to travel and go on a solotrip once a year. I'm especially fond of Asia. My favorite destinations so far are Japan, Vietnam, and Nepal, but I can't wait to explore more!

I have experience teaching English and also have a TEFL diploma. I enjoy teaching children. I also enjoy doing this with younger children in a playful way, for example, through crafts, singing, or dancing.

I am currently studying cultural history at university, alongside my job for the government. I also have a TEFL diploma and completed a course in teaching ice skating and inline skating.
