Description
Hello! My name is Ireland (Ire for short). I come from a large family in southern United States; we’ve always enjoyed traveling but there are many places around the US I haven’t been yet. My whole life I’ve always wanted to travel and meet people from everywhere and from October 2021 to October 2022 I got the chance to go to several European countries doing various types of work. This absolutely amazing experience really allowed me to grasp just how large the US is in comparison and so this year I’m looking for workaways in the States.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a fairly large family, 5 siblings (youngest is now 7 and oldest is 28) as well as a 4 year old niece and several younger cousins so I have lots of first hand experience with children. I also have experience waiting tables (5 years) and I’m great with dogs (and most animals), having previously worked in a dog-boarding and daycare facility. I got the chance to work on a couple of small-ish farms where I really learned a lot and loved getting my hands dirty! I always make it a priority to be help where help is needed and learn as much as I can in the process.

Ire is a go-getter! She has her own motivation and you can feel she really enjoy all the shores at the farm.
She is very delicate and very organized. She has a lot of good ideas and does not mind to discuss them to improve them.

Staying with Michael and Clare was wonderful! The week flew by before I knew it and I enjoyed every day. There are beautiful walks with views of the mountains and stores in walking distance. Ire was a great guest, neat, helpful and clean. She was a big help with all the spring garden chores. She worked very well unsupervised and was focused and productive with her time in the garden. I stayed with Joe and Laury from the middle of April to the beginning of June and it made my heart ache to leave. I would have stayed forever if I hadn't had onward plans and didn't already overstay my visa in order to spend a bit more time in Chalabre.
