Currently based in Bologna, planning to travel again! Into eco-projects, art, cooking, languages, photography, crafting, and learning how to build and live in a sustainable way.

  • Description

My name is Hoda and I am 28 years old. I studied Theatre and graduated a few months ago in European Literary Cultures from the University of Bologna. I love travelling. I know everyone on this website probably says that and it might not be a surprise, but I really do! I usually travel solo, but I also welcome warm and safe company. I am flexible in that sense. Maybe we will see each other down the road, who knows!

For me, travelling is a form of self-reflection, inner exploration and soul purification. At the same time, it is a moment to get to know yourself while exploring new places or even old ones from a different point of view. Sometimes it is simply about relaxing and stepping out of your daily routine.

I am open to new cultures and languages. One of my favourite activities, and something I would say I am not bad at, is learning new languages and exchanging them. I love cooking and trying new recipes from different parts of the world. I enjoy crafting and I really want to learn how to build and repair in an ecological and sustainable way. Maybe in the future I would like to become a host in my own ecological farm.

I can enjoy reading a book on a bench in the silence of the woods, and also getting together with people I have just met for a drink and a chat. I usually keep a diary while I travel. It used to be just written, but recently I have started adding visual parts too, since painting and drawing are among my favourite activities.

I have been taking photos professionally since I was 16, and I usually have my camera with me when I travel. These days I have returned to analog photography, and I even have a little philosophy behind it that I would be happy to share.

Right now I am based in Bologna, but after months of hard work and writing my master's thesis, I am planning to start travelling again.

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an outgoing yet calm person. I am very good at listening to people and their needs and emotions, while coming up with possible solutions or, if not solutions, suggestions. Overall, I can be good at problem solving. In general, human connection interests me a lot and can turn into a rich exchange of culture, human experiences and skills. I love the idea of exchange, whether for skills, languages, services or something else.

I can embroider your shirt, take photos of your farm and your environment and post them on your social media, and you can teach me how to build sustainable materials or make a small roof. I can cook you foods from my country, paint the walls of your home and do house jobs, and you can teach me how to take care of plants, animals and the whole farm life. I usually go running in the evening or morning and we can do that together. I am not professional, but I can motivate you and give you some tips. I also started doing yoga this year, but due to work pressure I had to quit for a few months. I am going to start again and I can show you some fundamental stretching ideas. Maybe after a busy day we can do some stretching and meditation together and relax.

I love animals. I had a rabbit, hamster, cat, chickens, parrots and even a goat when I was a child, and me and my dad used to take care of them and enjoy their company. I sometimes do pet sitting and take care of dogs and cats, and I looooooove being with them. Although I have never really lived on a farm, I have always had apartment plants in my room and I enjoy taking care of them. For me, it is a deep pleasure seeing them flourish and grow. Overall, I love taking care of things, whether animals, people, plants, or even the soil and water.

I enjoy crafting, painting and drawing, and I often keep a travel diary that combines writing with visual parts. I have been a professional photographer since I was 16, and I usually have my camera with me. These days I have returned to analog photography, which I have my own philosophy about. I also love cooking and trying new recipes from different cultures, learning languages, and exchanging them with others.
