Description
We are Héloïse and Lucie, two longtime friends (27 and 26 y/o) motivated to learn and contribute through Workaway. Both curious and adaptable, we want to discover more about agriculture, permaculture, and sustainable living practices in harmony with nature and biodiversity.
We are eager to invest ourselves in a lifestyle that feels more responsible, healthy, and connected to the earth, while also sharing daily life in a community. Meeting people from different backgrounds and immersing ourselves in local culture and traditions is just as important to us as the hands-on learning experience. Together, we bring positivity, energy, and the joy of living and working as a team !
Héloïse :
I am a calm and independent person, but I have always lived in and loved lively places where people can talk, share, and laugh together. I am organized and a quick learner, and I adapt easily to new environments. I can't wait to immerse myself in a lifestyle close to nature and cook delicious vegetarian meals !
As an animal lover, I would be delighted to live alongside them and take care of them. I am also a creative person. I do various visual arts and music. I enjoy creating for pleasure, professionally, alone or with others, for my friends or family. I am also athletic, enjoying weight training, running, dancing, pilates, or slacklining...
I am always up for discovering and trying new activities! I also love games, whether as a competitive player or a cheerful hostess ✨
In short, I bring my positive energy, curiosity, and desire to learn and contribute !
Lucie :
I studied international solidarity and social action, which led me to work in different countries and and share my daily life with many different people. My friends and family describe me as a dynamic, positive, and cheerful person.
I am curious and independent, a quick learner, and I enjoy discovering new things, sharing them, and meeting new people. I like to give my all to whatever I do, with a focus on doing it well. My past experiences have taught me to adapt easily to new environments.
I started babysitting when I was 14 and I was an au pair in Boston for a year. I always enjoy looking after children and doing activities with them. To recharge my batteries, I like to spend time at the seaside. I also love cooking, especially since I became a vegetarian several years ago. A dream of mine is to have my own dog someday and other animals if where I live allows it ! In the meantime, I really enjoy taking care of other people's pets. I feel calm when I'm around them.
I never miss an opportunity to go to the movies, either alone or with friends. In my free time, I love to go dancing, read and color, always with a large cup of tea ! On weekends I like to go to second-hand shop and garage sales.

Lucie :
I am a dynamic and positive persnon, always smiling and laughing ! :)
With a background in international solidarity and social work, I have already traveled and lived in communities, which taught me to adapt easily to new environments. Curious and autonomous, I learn quickly and enjoy discovering new things, sharing them, and meeting people from different horizons.
I love cooking, especially vegetarian/vegan meals, and find joy in caring for animals. Social and community-oriented, I invest myself fully in what I undertakes, with attention to detail and a genuine team spirit. I am also motivated to deepen my knowledge of agriculture, permaculture, and sustainable practices, while embracing cultural exchange and group life. I have work experience in customer service and catering.
Héloïse :
I am an adaptable and organized persnon ! I am a quick learner, comfortable working both independently and in a team. With a background in 3D animation and visual arts, I can bring creativity, problem-solving skills and an eye for detail to any project. My experience as an animator and communication coordinator has made me confident in leading activities, creating engaging content, and fostering a positive group spirit. I enjoy hands-on tasks such as gardening, basic maintenance, or eco-building, and love preparing healthy vegetarian/vegan meals to share.
Creative and social, I bring visual arts, music, and a cheerful spirit to community life. Being physically active, I am motivated for outdoor and physical work, and as an animal lover I am always happy to help care for them. Above all, I am curious to learn more about permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable living practices.
