Hi, I'm Heidi!

I'm from New Zealand but am now living in the Netherlands.

I'm currently working as a Sustainability Manager but will be taking some time off to travel. Before leaving New Zealand, I spent 5 years working as a Hostel Manager of a really beautiful, 60 bed hostel in New Zealand's capital city.

I have done 2 workaways in the past, once managing B&Bs in France and once harvesting coffee in Colombia. I stayed at both for a month and absolutely loved it. That's why I want to get going again.

I love learning languages - I currently speak English, Spanish and French. And I'm really into sports and activities. I love hiking, bouldering, skiing, netball, running and the gym. I'm a people person and love being surrounded by other travellers who are exploring new places.

I can't wait to keep exploring the world and work alonsgide more amazing people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just finished up a degree in International Business and Tourism Management, where I largely learnt how to manage businesses and work with contacts from cultures different from my own. I have had a number of different jobs over the past 6 years but the most prominent is the 2 years I spent managing a hostel over weekends.
I have worked in a number of different cafes and have a little coffee machine at home which I have spent a year or so trying to practice on!
