Hello!

We're Hannes from Germany and Zoë from England.

We've both travelled on and off for 10 years which has included working and living in Australia and New Zealand (where we met working on a vineyard), backpacking around Asia, hitch-hiking in Mexico, cycling in Europe and building and living in a van in Canada.

Earlier this year we did a workaway in Ireland helping with gardening. In 2021 we were Wwoofing in Germany at a plant nursery for 3 months and also volunteered on a ranch for 6 weeks. Our passion is the great outdoors. In Europe we spent a lot of time foraging wild edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms as well as making our own fermented foods and drinks, plant tinctures and tea mixtures.

We are also very curious about different permaculture methods and off grid living but haven't got much experience in this.

We enjoy hiking, exploring different areas, integrating with local people, communities and projects as well as gaining knowledge and skills. We'd especially love to learn more about permaculture practices, plants and mushrooms.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In 2021 we volunteered in Germany for 3 months at a plant nursery where we were gardening, planting and potting plants to sell. We also worked on a horse ranch for 6 weeks where we fed the horses and mucked out the stables daily and helped set up a festival.
Both of us have experience working outside in a vineyard as well as being a cellar hand. We know how to use tools and have basic carpentry skills.
