Description

If you are looking for a funny, active and nice Italian Workawayer, here I am! I’m 19 years old and I live in a small town in the Appennini mountains, in Italy. I just graduated from high school and chose to take a gap year to clarify my ideas about the university choice. I met Workaway through a friend of mine who advised me to try. I've always enjoyed travelling, although I haven't actually done much so far. I have visited France, Germany and Spain, but most of the trips I have made to Italy. I would love to meet new people, get to know as many cultures as possible and learn from each experience. I would like to improve my English and, why not, also teach some Italian. I'm interested in knowing the legends and stories of the places I visit, listening to people talk about their life experiences and enriching my cultural baggage. I live in a small town at the foot of a mountain range, so I'd rather visit places where I can feel at home. I like both the sea and the mountains, as long as there are spaces immersed in nature. This does not exclude that sometimes I would also like to visit the big cities. There is not one thing in particular that I would like to do during my work away experience. I intend to learn as many things as possible and improve myself in what I already know how to do. I've worked as a waitress (2 years), bartender (3 years) and babysitter (few months) but I'm willing to learn how to garden, do DIY, help with housework and much more. I hope that Workaway will give me the chance to open my mind and spur me out of my 'shell' (comfort zone), to become the best version of me.

I worked as a babysitter and waitress, so I am good with kids, friendly and polite. In my house I’m able to do the household chores and I can cook some Italian dishes. I live in the countryside so I can even do some basic tasks.
