Description
We have an old stone farmhouse in the beautiful Cevennes region of southern France. The surrounding hills, mountains, terraced valleys and limestone plateau provide a spectacular background and a distinct regional culture.
There is a river beach for swimming with a riverside cafe bar just 10 minutes walk down our valley, close to the local village.
A small and vibrant town is less than 10 minutes drive away with a twice weekly market that fills the main streets. The town promotes the local culture with many opportunities to join in. In the summer evenings bands perform at the regular outdoor music eventsTypes d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We really enjoy meeting new people and helping them get the most from their experience of travelling in this beautiful area.
We are here for the adventure and love to share it with our family, friends and visitors. We have bicycles you can use to explore the area and plenty of information about hiking routes and cycle paths. We can take you on trips to spectacular mountains, sandy beaches, music festivals and sporting events.Aide
In 2025 we will host people from June onwards. Visitors come to enjoy the peaceful environment and exchange their cultural experiences. We cook and eat together and share our skills. While you're here you can learn and practice a wide variety of practical skills. Our organic garden, fruit trees and soft fruits provide us with fresh produce and a place to learn about cultivation in this unique microclimate.
We are always busy with a variety of tasks in the garden and around the house.
If you have practical skills they are very welcome. If want to learn more we value your enthusiasm and we are happy to share the skills we have learnt caring for this unique place.Langues

We have a very narrow access path. VW vans have made it down the path but nothing bigger. There is a wide verge on the road where people have parked up. Its only a quiet country Lane!
