Hello wonderful people who open their homes and projects to travelers 😊
My name is Giulia, and I am currently living in Switzerland, where I am studying to become a primary school teacher. As part of my bachelor’s degree, I need to collect additional credits, and I would love to do this through meaningful volunteer work.
I am especially interested in permaculture, animal welfare, or possibly teaching English at a local school. I’m always eager to learn, contribute, and be part of inspiring projects that make a positive impact.
I would describe myself as hardworking, open-minded, friendly, resilient, and curious. For the past four years, I’ve been enjoying and sharing life with my lovely rescue dog, Balou. He is a gentle, older, 30kg bundle of love.
In my free time, I love being outdoors, reading, and cooking delicious vegetarian food. I’ll be traveling in my small van, which I am currently converting myself... a project that’s teaching me a lot of patience and creativity:)
I would be very happy to support your project, learn from you, and share skills, stories, and good meals together.

Hola, maravillosa gente que abren sus hogares y proyectos a los viajeros 😊.
Me llamo Giulia y actualmente vivo en Suiza, donde estoy estudiando para ser profesora de primaria. Como parte de mi licenciatura, necesito obtener créditos adicionales y me encantaría hacerlo a través de un trabajo voluntario significativo.
Me interesan especialmente la permacultura, el bienestar animal o, posiblemente, enseñar inglés en una escuela local. Siempre estoy deseando aprender, contribuir y formar parte de proyectos inspiradores que tengan un impacto positivo.
Me describiría como trabajadora, abierta de mente, amigable, resiliente y curiosa. Durante los últimos cuatro años, he disfrutado y compartido mi vida con mi adorable perro rescatado, Balou. Es un perro gentil, mayor, de 30 kg y lleno de amor.
En mi tiempo libre, me encanta estar al aire libre, leer y cocinar deliciosa comida vegetariana. Viajaré en mi pequeña van, que actualmente estoy reformando yo misma... un proyecto que me está enseñando mucha paciencia y creatividad :)
Estaría muy feliz de apoyar tu proyecto, aprender de ti y compartir habilidades, historias y buenas comidas juntos.

I helped out in the english school in the town center and the hostel. The people at the school are super sweet, students and teachers :) & everyone in the hostel is like family. It is the perfect place to practice your spanish too!

I spent 2 months here and it was a great experience! The work is really fair and easy, you rent out the bikes and make sure that they are in good condition, you sell tours and of course diving :) When you sell dive trips and they aren't full you can always join in, unless you are working ;) .… read more
I was in a tricky situation when I contacted Erika and her response was super fast and kind! We had a quick phone call where she explained me what was expected of me and what I get in return. During my week there I had hardly anything to do, clean a bit here and there and help with the cooking. So work was really simple but you where still there the whole day from 7.30 till about 18.00. Which is just a long day of nothing :)

is a nice girl who can do a lot and she learns quickly, she is apselutt one of our best helpers. I recommend her if you are looking for a girl you trust who performs the job in an excellent way.
