Hello from New Zealand!

We are a hard-working, down to earth, adventurous couple in our late 20's heading to Canada on a two year working visa. Despite having successful careers in industrial design and wildlife conservation respectively, we are in search of a break from the daily grind and are pursuing an authentic Canadian adventure. Whilst travelling we'd like to develop new skills, meet amazing people, and give back to local communities where possible.

Being active people who love spending time in the outdoors, a role where this is a possibility would be a bonus. Raised on farms in NZ, we are practical people that are not afraid to get our hands dirty and always keen to learn a new trick or two.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Adaptable and hardworking, we both enjoy getting stuck in and getting the job done. We are well-skilled all rounders who are confident and capable to tackle anything thrown our way. Both hold a Comprehensive First Aid Certificate.

Gemma:
BSci (Zoology) with First Class Honours and NZ Certificate of Exercise Level 4. 6 years experience working in wildlife conservation and 18 months operating my own personal training business (Gemma Bell Fitness), with previous jobs in the hospitality industry. Skills and experience in *drivers license *animal care *computer use *health and safety management *cooking *customer service *cleaning *facility maintenance *social media marketing *payroll/finance *team management

Haydn:
Bachelor Art & Design (Industrial Design), Professional Member of the Designers Institute of NZ with six years of professional consulting experience. Prior experience laboring in timber mills and landscape gardening.

While in Canada I wish to learn to ski and experience local hunting as much as possible. A bit more about each of our interests!

Gemma:
With a passion for nature/wildlife and challenging myself physically, hiking and kayaking have become two of my favourite hobbies. On a rainy day however, you can find me baking up a storm in the kitchen. My newest hobby has become nature photography, where I hope to raise awareness about the importance of our natural world through capturing its beauty on camera. A happy-go-lucky person who is always up for a laugh :)

Haydn:
I have competed in a range competitive sports (such as rugby, cycling, and rowing) in the past, however currently I am keen on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and running an Ultra Marathon Trail. While in Canada I would like to learn skiing or snowboarding and experience the local hunting scene. To relax I like to read, learn Chinese or watch movies like Star Wars for the 87th time.
