Hey!
We’re Kayly and Fritz, both 20, and we’re planning a trip to Asia this summer. We’re from Marburg, a charming university town in Germany. Last year, we finished high school (Abitur), and now Fritz is studying economics, while Kayly is training to become a CTA (Chemical-Technical Assistant).

We’re both passionate about traveling and have been doing it for years—both before we met and together. Last year, we traveled through Greece and Albania, and Fritz has some Workaway experience from a trip to Spain two years ago.

We’re big animal lovers—Fritz’s family has a dog, cats, and more—so we’re totally comfortable around pets. We both grew up with siblings (an older brother and a younger sister each), so we’re used to sharing spaces and working as part of a team.

We’re curious about other cultures, love meeting new people, and enjoy being outdoors. We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty and are ready to help out wherever needed. We’re looking forward to learning, exploring, and making the most of this experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My experience with animals comes from growing up around a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and more. I’ve helped with general animal care, such as feeding, grooming, cleaning, and providing basic medical attention when necessary. Kayly is also a huge animal lover and has occasionally helped care for the animals in my family. We’re both comfortable around animals and enjoy spending time with them.

Our experience with childcare comes from volunteering as supervisors on state-organized youth trips. Last year, I (Fritz) volunteered in this role, and this year, Kayly and I will both be volunteering together as supervisors for the same organization. Kayly also has experience from volunteering with a different youth trip organization in the past. We’ve helped organize activities, supervised the kids, and made sure they were safe and having a good time.

I (Fritz) have hands-on experience with basic construction projects, like building simple structures or assisting with smaller tasks. I also helped out during the renovation of my house, which gave me some foundational knowledge for basic home refurbishments. That said, I’m not a carpenter and would definitely need some guidance or assistance with more complex or technical work.

Kayly is really into cooking and loves helping out in the kitchen. She enjoys the work there and is always curious about trying new recipes. When it comes to household tasks, we’re both fine with basic stuff.
