  Hi everyone. I have lived in Koh Phayam for over 30 years and am offering free accomodation in exchange for assistance throughout my property. It is a private room with a fan and shared bathroom amenities.
  
  Animal lovers only. We are a family of 8cats, 5 dogs and over 20 chickens!

  Living on Koh Phayam offers a peaceful, car-free lifestyle with uncrowded beaches and lush jungles. Travelers can experience warm Thai hospitality, a relaxed bohemian vibe, and a blend of local and expat culture, with opportunities to enjoy traditional cuisine and connect with the island’s small, eco-conscious community.

  We are looking for volunteers (30-50y old) who can help with reception/guest relations, gardening, cleaning, baking in the wood-fired oven and people who are good at DIY or manual labor to help us to do odd tasks here.

  The island its self is called Koh Phayam, its a beautiful island near to Ranong. Its a more chilled vibe. Renting a motorbike or scooter is a requirement due to our location on the island.
  
  
  We are also hosting a unique 3-week creative film project on Koh Phayam for people who are interested in filmmaking, storytelling, performance, or helping bring a creative idea to life.
  
  This project is different from a standard film shoot because the story and script will be developed collaboratively by the participants using a process inspired by the Design Sprint. Rather than arriving to a fully finished script, you will help shape the film itself as part of the creative team.
  
  We will be filming mostly at night, and as it is rainy season, you should be prepared to get wet. The island atmosphere, tropical weather, and quieter season should all add something special to the final footage.
  
  We are especially interested in hearing from:
  • actors
  • camera operators
  • editors
  • scriptwriters
  • lighting people
  • make-up artists
  • production assistants
  • sound or score people
  • anyone with design sprint or workshop facilitation experience
  
  You do not need to be a big professional, but you should be genuinely enthusiastic, collaborative, open-minded, and excited by the idea of making something unusual together.
