Having walked the El Camino trail, I'm eager to return to Europe or anywhere in the world to experience a different kind of adventure - one where I can settle into a single place and immerse myself in its rhythms.

Hello! I’m a 67 year-old with a deep love for nurturing both nature and people to their fullest potential. With a tranquil and inviting presence, I bring a happy, kind, and positive energy to everything I do. People describe me as respectful, non-judgmental, and an active listener who values every story. I’m a natural leader who works alongside others with humility and enthusiasm, always ready to lend a hand or share a warm conversation.
My Skills and Passions
My green thumb is my pride and joy! I’ve spent years cultivating thriving gardens and greenhouses, from planting and tending to harvesting and preserving for year-round sustainability. I live on my sons homestead, we raise chickens and turkeys for eggs and meat, fish and hunt with respect, and process our own food with care and gratitude. I take pride in living sustainably, minimizing waste, and fostering growth in both nature and community.
With a BA in Criminology from the University of Alberta and a Health and Safety Certification from the University of Calgary, I bring an open mind and a willingness to learn new skills. Whether it’s gardening, preserving, or contributing to a community project, I’m excited to share my knowledge and grow alongside you.

My strongest skills are in gardening and homesteading. I have extensive experience in cultivating thriving gardens and greenhouses, including: planting, tending, weeding, and harvesting vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Skilled in organic and sustainable gardening practices. Other skills include:
• Food Preservation and Processing (canning, pickling, butchering, making sausage)
• Animal Husbandry: Experience raising chickens and turkeys for eggs and meat
• Community Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, non-judgmental communication, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
• Leadership and Collaboration: active listening and non-judgmental approach make me a asset for community based projects or hosts.
