Hi, I'm Fleur!
I am a veterinarian for large animals (mainly ruminants and horses), living in the Netherlands. I've done a few workaways in 2019, now I'm ready for some new adventures!
I prefer places where I'm surrounded by animals, as I obviously like them :). I ride horses for over ten years now and I have experience with a lot of different breeds and styles (englisch/western/eventing/etc.) as well as with breaking in young horses.
When I'm not busy cuddling some animals, I love to photograph, to draw, to decorate my room, to go cycling, roller/ice skating or play (beach)volley-ball. I also really love to connect with new people and learn from other cultures, one of the reasons I prefer to travel via workaway :).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Due to my study and work, I have handling and caring experience with a lot of animals besides horses, like cattle, donkey's, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and almost all kinds of animals smaller than a dog :). Besides, I have quite a lot of veterinairy knowledge and practical skills, which can be really useful I suppose!
My experience with horses: I ride since I was ten years old, after approximatily 5 years of lessons at a manege I started to ride horses from other people and later train young horses, jumphorses and endurancehorses. I mostly enjoy the outrides in nature, so I would love to do so at my workawayplace.
