Hi, I'm Martin, a secondary school teacher in Austria. After 10 years of teaching, I'm taking a gap year to meet new people, discover new cultures and gain new experiences.

Description

Hi! My name is Martin, I’m from Germany and I have been living and working in Austria for many years. I’m a secondary school teacher and have been teaching Latin and Music for the past ten years.

After ten years in the classroom, I’m now starting a gap year and looking forward to a new chapter in my life. I would love to travel, meet new people, make new friends and get to know different cultures and ways of life.

I’m an open-minded, reliable and easy-going person who enjoys being around people. I love languages, music and travelling, and I’m always curious to learn something new. During my travels, I would also be happy to share my own skills and experiences and contribute wherever I can.

For me, Workaway is not just about finding a place to stay – it’s about meeting people, experiencing everyday life in another country and hopefully creating some great memories together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have 10 years of experience as a teacher and enjoy working with people of all ages. I’m good at organizing, communicating and working in a team. I speak German, English, Italian and Spanish. Music is another big part of my life: I play drums and piano and have experience leading bands and music projects. I’m reliable, flexible, open-minded and always happy to learn new skills and help with practical tasks.
