Hi, we're Erika and Robin from Italy!

We left our corporate jobs a couple of years ago in order to turn our life around.
Erika is a yoga teacher and Robin is a former train driver, working currently as a freelance photographer.

We enjoy having a slow and minimalist approach in our journeys. Our loyal travel companion is a small Fiat Panda 4x4, which we converted into a campervan to fit our needs.

Why Workaway? We've always been a kind of solitary travellers so we're now looking for a deeper connection with the places we visit and the people we meet. Ready for the adventure!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Erika:
I'm cofounder of a yoga studio where I worked as yoga teacher (with 600+ hours of professional training and six years of experience). I worked there as an accountant and Pilates teacher as well.
I have experience in organizing and managing yoga retreats and other similar events.
In a couple of occasions I've organised some little art exhibitions.
I have a bachelor in Philosophy. While I was studying I worked in the university library and as a babysitter.
Lifeguard certificate.

Robin:
Experienced photographer and passionate DIYer, I've done a variety of jobs...
I've worked as a photographer, librarian, bike mechanic, train driver, farm tractor driver and occasionally as a carpenter and gardener.
I've been a scout for a long time and volunteered briefly for the Red Cross in Italy.

Autres infos...

We met many years ago at a climbing gym. Since then our passion for the outdoor life only increased. We love mountain hiking and exploring especially in the winter season. The colder it is the better it feels :)
We're both big movie fans and Erika has even attended a screenplay course at a cinema school.
Robin is a classic car enthusiast and is ceaselessly trying to start a restoration project on his Mk1 Lancia Delta.

  We've been both vegetarian for 10+ years but we can adapt to another diet if necessary.
