Hello !
Nice to meet you. I am a New Zealander who left small town life to live in France in her early 20s. I studied French, literature and history at my NZ Uni, so heading off to Europe seemed like a good idea. 10 years later, I have travelled a lot with Couchsurfing, voluneered with Helpx and worked in a tourism office and as an English Teacher, before following my passion - Cinéma ! I completed Film school in Lyon, 2020. Since then I’ve spent 5 years in the film industry as a Grip and sometimes camera op on passion projects. I’ve worked in France, Prague and now Montreal, Canada trying to challenge myself and gain more experience on film sets.
More recently I am looking to shift careers and especially discover areas of the world that have deep history, nature and where I can create and learn.

I love working with my hands and being outside. I often do yoga or YouTube workouts since my job is so physical and I need to stay in shape to protect my body and just to feel good and relaxed ! All that to say I’m not afraid of work and I am used to being around lots of people.
I love reading and good coffee, so I also have my introvert moments where I just want to walk, observe and breath…
Discussing history, movies and book recommendations is most welcome. Leaning languages is also a passion of mine.

English Teacher part and full time with a CELTA qualification for 8 years - Spain and France
Have taught and looked after kids from 7-17

Film school in France + on set experience so I am used to physical work, know how to edit and use a camera. What I don’t know I figure out quite easily. Am always happy to learn how to use new tools, whether it be in gardening or building.

A decent cook, simple healthy meals.

Bilingual English, French, understand a good amount of Spanish. Want to learn more languages !
