Description

Hi I’m Emery and I’ve been travelling the entire length of New Zealand in my caravan. I’ve come to the end of my journey before I head back home and I’m looking to end it with a local family/person to experience the authentic kiwi experience before heading back home.

I love hiking, mountain biking, exploring, and anything outdoors as well as cooking, reading and spending time with people.

For the past couple years I worked at a kayak guide on an island on the west coast of Canada, travelled Europe for 9 months and have lived/traveled in my van in NZ for the last 7 month. Through these experiences I have learned to appreciate meeting new people from all over the world.

I’m a positive, easygoing person who’s happy to help wherever needed whether that’s outdoor work, general maintenance, cooking, or day to day tasks. I take pride in being reliable, respectful, and bringing a good attitude to whatever I do.

I’m really looking forward to connecting, learning something new, and contributing to a welcoming environment.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up with a huge garden so I used to spending time weeding, gardening, and doing physical maintenance outside. I also studied ecology so I love being outside with the local flora and am passionate about sustainability and restoration. I also love animals and would love doing some farm work along the way.

I am also happy being indoors and am comfortable and capable at doing household tasks such a cooking, cleaning and general tasks. I am very easygoing on what sort of work I do as long as I have some sort of direction at the start, I am quick to pick things up and can get on with it.
