Hey there! I am Ella from England! I am a 30 year old nurse, who has spent her twenties committed to both her job that she loves and exploring this wonderful world! I have been lucky enough to travel much of Asia, India and Europe. Most recently, I spent the last three years working as a travel nurse in Australia, where I completed the "lap" of the country with my best friend. We lived out of our van, whilst picking up rural and remote nursing contracts. It was the biggest adventure of my life so far and taught me that you can work hard and be passionate about your calling, whilst also continuing to explore the world, meet wonderful people and learn about different cultures.

I would describe myself as kind, patient and open minded. I enjoy working hard but also love to have fun. My job within health care has taught me that life is precious. As a result, I am determined to experience life to the full, through travelling and connecting with people.

My interests include spending time outdoors, cooking/baking, reading and taking care of both my mind and body. I am by no means an artist but I enjoy being creative and silly too! I also really enjoy spending time with young kids and animals. I think this is because I love being reminded of how to see the world with such wonder and trust through their eyes. This year I have also trained in holistic/relaxation massage, which I am passionate about continuing to practise whilst away!

Since returning home last year, I have enjoyed reconnecting with my family and nursing in the UK. However I am ready for a new challenge. I would really love to learn Spanish [I am very much a beginner!], whilst exploring some of Central and/or South America.

One of my main goals for this trip to Central and/or South America is to enrol in language school and focus on learning Spanish [as a complete beginner!] I would love to find a work-away host that could support me in-between my lessons. Equally I would love to help and encourage those learning English.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a registered nurse, with experience in both emergency medicine and care of the elderly. As a result of this role, I am familiar with hard work.

Some other skills include cooking vegetarian/vegan food, house/animal sitting and cleaning and tidying. To be honest, I will give any job a good go and enjoy learning new skills!
