What motivates me and gives me joy is mainly interacting with people. I love getting to know new places and ways of life, not just as a tourist, but by actively getting involved and becoming part of everyday life. It makes me particularly happy to learn new skills. Whether it's gardening, helping around the house, working with children, or taking care of animals.
For me, Workaway is an opportunity to gain experiences that are rarely possible in everyday life: forming bonds, building trust, sharing, and supporting each other.
It also motivates me to try new things and take on small challenges in everyday life. Whether it's a new tool, a language, or simply a completely different way of life. This curiousity keeps me open, reliable, and committed. This makes experience special for me.

Since I would like to study English to become a teacher, I am very interested in feeling more confident in the English language. I would also like to try my luck at helping others learn my native language, German. Since my family has roots in the Netherlands, I would also like to learn Dutch. I am making my first steps with the Duolingo app.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I successfully completed my high school diploma in June 2025.
My major subjects were chemistry and history.
I would like to study elementary school teaching next year.
Preferably with my favorite subjects, English and art.
In my free time, I like to do sports.
I rode horses for 11 years and always went jogging on the side. Unfortunately, I had to take a break for the last three years due to a knee injury.
Now I am all the more motivated to slowly get back into it.
Parallel to my high school diploma, I helped out at a supermarket, stocking and tidying up the shelves.
After graduating from high school, I helped my aunt a lot with her three sons. They are 6, 3, and 1 years old. I entertained my cousins or took them and their French bulldog for walks.
That's what I enjoy most, and that's what I miss the most right now.

I am a total family person and love having people around me who make me feel good.
At home, I am part of the “Landjugend”, a typical village club in our area. Lots of young people meet there, and we plan different activities together. Things like bowling, go-karting, or small parties.
