Hello!

My name is Èlia, I'm 24 years old, and I came from Barcelona. I just finish my degree in Primary and Nursery Education, a profession that I really love and for the moment I enjoy being part of the Scouts of my hometown!! 

Travel it's also my passion, and I'm always trying to do it in a sustainably way trying to discover all the best of each culture, meeting new people and friends and living new experiences. That's the reason why I would like to introduce me to the workaway world and live new adventures cooperating with others. 

During my lasts summers, I've been doing different volunteering projects in Europe; Ireland, France, Germany and Belgium, during that time I've being working in different heritage reconstructions and working in the nature conservation and sustainable projects. Doing this kind of projects I learn different skills such as wood work. During these experiences I've been super happy knowing new people from all around the world, learning new things that I've never thought I would learn and exchanging different cultural and social values and knowledge. 

From these experiences I figure it out how I feel when I live this kind of adventures/experiences, when I'm far from home I feel comfortable, I have a lot of energy to discover and work or talk and the most important how grateful people are. 

I'm an easy outgoing person with a big engage with the community and friends, I'm always trying to have fun, I can enjoy either a good party or a weekend in the mountains. I always try to take care of my people, I love to speak and know about the others. Furthermore, I'm a happy and smiling person.

My and my friend Ariadna will travel to Latin america next year, starting january 2024. we will cross Colombia, Perú and Chile.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During my daily life I take care of my old grandparents, every morning I take care of my turtles and I help my family in tour vegetable garden.

Every Saturday I take part in the Scouts of my hometown, a volunteer project led for youth people from my town.

I love cooking, and I cook for myself in a healthy way.

I teach either kids or teens, always trying to understand them and giving as more tools as I can give.

I love coworking and cooperate with a team.

In the last work camp I learned to work with wood and to live in a sustainable way with 0 impact in the environment.

To sum up I consider myself a creative woman, I have a lot of imagination, and I like to have my time to paint, write or interpreting.
