Hi, I am Liz, 28 years old from Germany,

I recently quit my job to travel the world, starting with South America.
After dreaming of coming to South America since I was about 11 years old, I was finally able to fulfill my dream this year.
I have always enjoyed travelling and living in different countries, as I love learning and speaking different languages, discovering and experiencing different cultures, getting to see different ways of life and see the world from other peoples eyes.

I have worked an office job for 3 years after I finished university and it made me long for more freedom, movement and time to connect with nature.
I love being outdoors in any way possible but I particularly like hiking and love anything to do with water: swimming, diving, water sports. I have started wind surfing and did a surf course and I would love to get better at it (or learn to actually stand up on the board and really surf, to tell the truth :D)
I also enjoy drawing, singing and dancing or just having a relaxed day with a good book sometimes.

My job for the last three years was working in yacht charter sails, where I have learned a lot about sailing yachts especially, but as most of my time was spent behind a desk, that knowledge was never very practical. So, I would love the opportunity to spend some time on a boat, maybe learn to sail and get to experience more of the life on the water.
Another thing I would love to know more about is how to grow your own vegetables and maintain a garden.

Generally, my wish for the next year is to connect more with nature, learn about farming, learning to surf, challenge my creativity and spend time outdoors in any way possible while also connecting with people of different cultures to experience their way of life and maybe share some of mine.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Customer Service & administration
- I have worked in yacht charter sales for 3 years, so I have a lot of experience in sales, customer service and communications
- I also have my own business currently, where I do some accounting, administrative and marketing work - I love cooking and I really enjoy cooking for other people, so this is something I would love to help with when given the chance

Photography
- Furthermore I am a hobby photographer (I have a Sony A7III and love taking photos of all kinds of things) I would enjoy the opportunity to support in photography, videography and some social media work

Language and Translation
- I grew up bilingual as my mother is German and my father from England. Furthermore I am fluent in Spanish and Italian as well as speaking basic Dutch and French. Therefore I could help with translation of any kind (texts online or communicating with guests/customers of a business)

Animal care
- I grew up with cats and dogs and worked as pet sitter (mostly cats and dogs) while i was at university and would love to take care of and look after pets again. I am a big animal lover.

Manual labor/ gardening/ building/maintenance
- my family always had a garden and my mum loves to grow her own plants/flowers/vegetable and from early one I always helped with anything from digging holes to cutting tree branches, whatever work was necessary.
generally, I can lift heavy and love to work with my hands so I can support wherever is needed
