Hello!

My name is Elena, I'm 33 years old and live in Perth, Australia (the most isolated city in the world!). I live by myself in my city apartment. I am an Interior Designer and also operate a small Wedding Videography business.

I will be in Italy mid June 2025 and stay for 12 months to improve my Italian. The way I would like to learn is through new and different experiences with locals all around Italy whether it is with a single person or a family.

In my spare time, I like to;
- Play piano and guitar
- Skateboard
- Create short home videos of my family and friends for keepsake
- Make pasta...this could be improved!
- Travel
- Go for walks
- Fishing
- Fostering cats from the shelter
- Enjoy the sun
- Drone photography/videography
- Doing word find puzzles
- Researching Design trends
- Go to the beach
- Make plans with friends (go to a bar for a wine/dinner/markets/events/a night in playing boardgames)
- Spend time with my family
- Meeting new people and listening to new ideas and different perspectives

Art & Design Skills
- Interior Design (developing design ideas, concepts, mood boards, 3D models, rendered images, internal architectural drawings for construction)
- Videography (create short films for personal/business use with embedded audio, music and subtitles)
- Photography (personal or for business. Portrait photos/product photos)
- Drone Photography/Videography (For personal or business use)
- Creating Wix websites (layout and design only, no SEO)
- Adobe Suite Programs (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator)
- Graphic Design (developing logos/branding)
- Visual Art (large Abstract paintings using acrylic paint, oil pastels and gesso on canvas)

Physical Labour
I grew up on a property where we had fruit/vegetables/nuts to harvest and chickens to take care of. (A lot of olive picking and de-pipping the olives by hand included!)

I have also done light renovation work in painting walls and ceilings with both acrylic and oil based paints.

I am confident with hammers/drills when required

Garden maintenance is another hobby of mine (my old house had the most beautiful garden which I enjoyed weeding and pruning the hedges...making it look perfect!)


Basically, as computer-based my normal work is, I do still enjoy getting my hands dirty! :)
