I visited Nirvana’s place in November for about a week. As she said there’s wasn’t much to to because the activity was closed. But she was so kind to host me despite it. Her place is perfect, very comfortable and in a very calm area. Beaches and villages to visit around super beautiful.
Nirvana is very cool and interesting. Conversations a real

Thanks a lot Nirvana for all😊🙏🏽 Always welcome at home 😘❤️🌈Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

It was a pleasure hosting Dorothy. As a result of her stay I now have a beautifully decorated bedroom a great place to relax after a saying he garden. Dorothy worked with passion and gave over and above what I expected of her. Thank you so so much Dorothy :kissing_closed_eyes:

This was my second workaway and I highly recommend Nirvana and this area. Everything was exactly as described, comfortable, and super clean. The gardening was not strenuous and to my delight we did a decorative painting project which is my profession and favorite thing to do.

Nirvana is thoughtful, more that fair, and did extra things that made me feel welcome and at home. Best of the Best!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Please forgive the tardiness of this review but I really did not want to share my find with the rest of the world. I was fortunate enough to spend 4 months of the spring and summer of 2016 at this B&B in Santa Maria di Castellabate and have missed it ever since.
I often take all the 4 smiley/excellent reviews here with a grain of salt. They seem
… read more to occur far too often and usually say the same things. Having said that, I am rating my time here 4 smileys only because I cannot give 5.
Most of my time there was spent pruning, clearing and prepping their several hundred fig trees for the August harvest. And then harvesting those figs. As an added bonus, much of this was done shoulder to shoulder with Nirvana. The work was never strenuous, the work day only as long as I wanted it to be, and I was never asked to do something Nirvana would not have done herself. Most hosts say they expect only 4 to 5 hours per day, but Nirvana actually takes the tools from you after 4 hours and banishes you to the beach after lunch. Not a bad punishment as the beach was a 10 minute walk away, and consistently receives the highest rating by the Italian Minister of Beaches. Not to mention it was the cleanest, most pleasing beach I’ve found yet in Italy, including those of the Amalfi Coast, the distant coastline of which you can actually see from Nirvana’s beach. However, Nirvana was so fair, kind, fun, and appreciative, it was my pleasure to skip the beach and do another two or three hours of work after lunch, even over her objection.
Nirvana’s accommodations are always clean, tidy, safe, and very comfortable. She has strong and dependable wifi, and loads of books, dvds, and streaming movies for whenever couch-time was necessary. I still long for the hot water and water pressure of her showers. Her meals were always typical dishes of fresh local ingredients, including fish, vegetables, chicken, handmade pasta, and the weekly delivery of artisan mozzarella and ricotta. On the same street lives much of Nirvana’s family including her mother, sister, and nephews so a revolving cast of fascinating characters often drop by -and better still- bearing homemade leftovers. Mmmmm! I enjoyed several dinners at friends’ homes, birthdays, family gatherings, and even a baby shower. It truly was hard to leave.
For these reasons and many others I highly recommend a stay at Nirvana’s. Hopefully you will get a chance to do so. Well, as long as you’re not competing against me for that spot. Nirvana fully understands the spirit of Workaway, and could teach a course on how to maximize the host/volunteer relationship. I only hope I gave as much as I got by helping out there.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Our first workaway and it was a fabulous experience. Nirvana (and her family who live nearby) were very welcoming and we were included in many meals. We had our own two bedroom apartment as it was off season and not booked. The fridge was fully stocked with food. The work was fun and not at all taxing. We would highly recommend this host.
