Hello, my name is Ed, I'm a 30 year old from Somerset England. I have a strong love for Permaculture, sustainable models of communal living and ecobuilding. I am passionate about working with nature, allowing it to thrive through using cyclical systems etc and deepening our human bond with the natural world. I dream to live communally someday and have some veggie/herb beds of my own and a big old orchard but for now I'm keen to skill up working on other peoples, and what a wonderful way to see new places and meet good people!

I've Wwoofed on farming communities in New Zealand, and studied a Permaculture Design Certificate and worked on organic veg farms for a season in the UK. I also have experience working with wood having had a workshop in Bristol for 3 years where I converted vans into campervans, so would be happy to get involved with carpentry projects as well as working the land.

I'm wanting to find a nice peaceful retreat for January and February where I can spend more time in nature, get back into meditation and enjoy exploring new areas and meeting new people. Hope to hear from you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have gained gardening and food production skills from my time wwoofing and on my permaculture course. I'm not a complete stranger to using power tools with wood, but my building skills are limited, I'd say my biggest skill is being very enthusiastic and willing to get fully involved with whatever needs doing when it relates to holistic living with the land.
