I am deeply motivated by helping others, working hard to improve efficiency, making life easier, and brightening someone’s day. I thrive on meeting people from diverse backgrounds, finding connections through shared experiences, and celebrating our differences.

Over the past year, I have managed social media for my travel business, creating engaging content, building an online community, and inspiring people to explore the world. As a travel agent, I’ve planned trips for individuals and groups, focusing on experiences that are both meaningful and memorable. I also host local meetups that bring people together for exploration, adventure, and cultural exchange - whether that’s discovering hidden gems in the city or sharing stories over a meal.

For the past two years, I’ve managed an accounting firm in NJ, and for six years before that, I was an English, Science, and Math teacher. Some of the most fulfilling years of my life were spent living in Spain and Colombia, immersing myself in the local cultures, learning new languages, gaining fresh perspectives, and forming friendships that felt like family.

As a true extrovert, I find joy in bringing people together to have fun, connect, and grow. Whether through play, shared learning, or meaningful conversations, fostering those connections is my greatest passion.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a bilingual teacher with 6 years of experience teaching in bilingual schools in NYC, Madrid, Spain, and coastal Colombia. Additionally, I have a Masters in Bilingual Education from Columbia University, NYC, with a speciality in teacher-student relationships. I am skilled at and have experience tutoring students from ages 8-60 in English and basic academic content and skills. I have experience leading community projects including involving community stakeholders, managing a budget, proposing project structure and timelines, planning community conferences, coordinating workshops, and more. I secured and implemented a grant with USAID in Colombia to build a teachnological English lab for the community and worked alongside community members to make their dreams come true. Additionally, I have secretarial and managerial experience in an office overseeing client needs, employee schedules, invoicing, and day-to-day tasks. I am a skilled athlete and love to be active specially enjoying running long distances, swimming, hiking, yoga, and scuba diving. I hope to get yoga certified soon. Finally, I am a very reflective and self-aware person and enjoy leading others in meditation, journaling, and reflection activities.
