My expertise is in organizing spaces and renewing people's homes by simply rethinking layouand repurposing with existing materials. It usually involves some DIY, upycling items, and creative planning.

Description

I've spent the last 10 years helping people bring joy to their lives and homes as a home organizer and artist. With sustainable home organizing’s recent growth in popularity, my work demand has grown, although my approach varies as it entails removing things which no longer serve a purpose and being resourceful with underused items using my creative DIY skills. I also teach conversational English to children and adults. I was raised by a British mother and spent decades living abroad in the US.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening - I’m passionate about gardening and enjoy getting my hands dirty. I’d love the opportunity to learn more about plant varieties and best gardening practices.

Cooking - I specialize in Italian dishes, but I enjoy baking cakes and scones most.

Children - I've raised four children and now have an 18-month granddaughter in Spain who I enjoy spoiling.

Sewing and crafts- I can patch and fix up broken items resourcefully.

Painting - I pride myself on being very detail-oriented and am quite the perfectionist.

DIY - Very scrappy, creative and am up to any artsy task! I've recently converted a commercial bus into a one-bedroom apartment to host on AirBNB on my property. I acted as the project manager and creatively planned the bus flip.

Moving houses. I have moved houses many times in my life and have done the packing and all that is required to do in emptying, packing and/or installing a new home again. Would love to help anyone that is needing this type of knowledge and who loves doing it.
English Lessons - I have given conversational classes for ages 5-30+ for the past five years. I love sharing my knowledge for those students looking to learn in a fun way. With my younger students, I’m great at teaching using a variety of games, interactive lessons, and playing while learning simultaneously.

After raising a family of four children around the world in Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Florida, New Jersey and California, I have now put down roots in my home country of Uruguay. I am taking the rest of this year to travel in Europe as I’m eager to learn many new things (especially when it comes to art) and gain more experience in my favorite activities - home organization, sustainable interior design, immersing in languages that I'd like to improve on, and connecting more deeply with my mother's home country, England.

I’m a great active listener and am keen to befriend those who live life to the fullest and are easy-going. I enjoy having a good laugh, playing board games, going on nature walks, watching films, and a hot cup of coffee.

I’m very sustainably minded and enjoy learning about innovative building and eco-friendly projects around the world. I have just finished completing almost two years of overseeing a sustainable housing project on my land in Uruguay.
