Hello, this is Dimitri,
I want to travel to discover the world. I am passionate about architecture, construction, art in general, history and geography. I like to draw plans of different things and then build them. I am sociable and enjoy meeting new people. I also enjoy living in a group and helping each other. I like to play board games. I want to be useful and help people. My favorite sports are kayaking, mountain biking and archery.

I like to travel around europe to improve my English and learn about the culture of countries to gain experience. I like to exchange with people from different countries.

I grew up in a small village in the south of France surrounded by vineyards and hills. When I was a child, I used to play in the woods with friends, now I go cycling and hiking in the same woods. I am lucky to live in a place close to nature, which has made me aware of environment preservation topics. I would like future generations to be able to enjoy and play in these woods as well.

In the last few years, I have been volunteering in associations that restore historical monuments in France. I have done lime masonry, stone cutting, blacksmithing and stained glass. Then with workaway i had the opportunity to work in hostels, vegetables farms, rescue pig farm. I enjoyed living in a group and helping other volunteers.

I want to discover, to contribute and to share moments for new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I know how to do traditional lime masonry and stone cutting. I have also done modern masonry with wired concrete. I know how to do stained glass and last summer, I learned to forge.
I studied in construction and civil engineering. During my internships I was able to acquire new skills: I was responsible for drawing the plans of a building for a construction permit and I also did the topography of several sites.
At home, I grow a vegetable garden. I had the opportunity to repair computers several times and to repair different objects like a table, lamps, ...
I speak French and English but I want to improve my Spanish.
I have a good physical condition and I can carry heavy loads. I am skilled with my hands, and I am curious to discover new activities.
