I am a 24 year old female who is looking for adventure and to discover new things. I joined workaway to help realize my dream of traveling the world all the while immersing myself in the communities within it and learning new skills.

I've just recently graduated from university with degrees in music and math - I play the trumpet as well as guitar. Music has always been an important part of my life as I feel as though it helps to bring communities together. I love that fact that it's a universal language.

The past 3 years I have also spent quite a bit of time on a sheep farm in Iceland and so farming, and sheep specifically, is something that I've grown to love. I'm always looking to gain more farming experience and diversify my skills.

I love being outdoors, doing things such as camping, hiking, and biking. I'm also very interested in learning more about sustainable living and homesteading. I'm especially interested in sustainable food practices since I also have a passion for baking and cooking.

Overall, I love learning new skills and because of that I'm really open to trying anything. I hope that workaway will allow me to immerse myself in the places that I visit and really be a part of the community.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can play many various instruments, especially trumpet and guitar. As well, I can bake and cook fairly well. I also have quite a bit of experience lambing and I've started learning how to drive a tractor. I'm a great problem solver. If I'm stuck on something and don't know what to do next I'm really great at persevering and looking at the problem from different angles in order to solve it. That being said, I also know when to ask for help. If given a task I can work independently or collaboratively with others depending on what's needed. I'd say that my greatest quality is my willingness to try new things and learn new skills - in fact, I love learning new skills.
