Description
Building an almond orchard in Nevsehir Cappadocia. I will be building a one story house in the orchard. In the summer the almond trees will need taking care which consists mainly of irrigation. I also plan to grow aronia bushes and mint. I will provide room and board and means to travel to nearby sights. The land is 42 acres and I plan to implement organic farming techniques. So anybody who is familiar with using bacteria instead of pesticide etc would be cherished. Work will be on a schedule for some days and for others it will be more laid back. The farm chores are specific so I will need volunteers that are responsible and are willing to get the job done. Bit about myself: I am a single Turkish woman on my own trying to succeed in a patriarchal society. I studied engineering and finance and now I am a farmer leaving all the woes of corporate life behind.

I have taught Turkish to foreigners in college and in my opinion it is the easiest language to learn. Here is why: It is one big formula once you crack it you speak it. There are no irregular verbs, no exceptions to rules etc. I would be happy to teach anyone willing to learn. I would very much look forward to practice Japanese as well. I lived in Japan 20 years ago and my Japanese has very much faded as I don’t get to practice at all.Hébergement
Private room with bath. The accommodation will not be on site it will be in Derinkuyu a 20 min drive or in Yazihuyuk a 5 min drive.
Food will always be part of daily activities. You can participate if you would like to prepare the meals of the day. If not you can just enjoy the local food cooked on the premises. You will get three meals a day and there will be someone preparing the food for lunch and dinner. You can help her if you would like or just watch and learn.Autres infos...
We are close to Capppdocia and Ihlara Valley where the first Christians took refuge in underground cities. The area is a treasure for history lovers.
