Hello!
I’m Daria, an illustrator and artist from Hamburg, Germany. I originally trained as an architect, but for the past few years I’ve been working independently in the fields of illustration, graphic recording, and mural art (if you´re interested in my work, you can visit my webpage www.somedash.de). I always carry a sketchbook in my bag for spontaneous drawings or notes.
I’m a calm and thoughtful person who enjoys learning new skills and exploring different cultures. I love spending time in nature, sketching, and having meaningful conversations. When I travel, I’m always inspired by local architecture, everyday life, and the small details that make a place unique.
I’m happy to help with creative projects, painting, organizing, gardening, or anything that needs a careful and artistic touch — and I can also draw on my background in architecture. I’m open to learning completely new things too, especially anything connected to craft, community, or sustainability.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the years I’ve developed a wide range of creative and practical skills. As an illustrator and artist, I have experience in painting, designing murals and books for kids. I also work in graphic recording, where I capture events and ideas through live drawing - so I’m used to working quickly, observing carefully, and turning complex topics into clear images.

My background in architecture taught me how to plan, organize, and pay attention to detail. I’m comfortable with tools, basic manual work, and have some experience with renovation tasks such as spackling, sanding, and painting walls. I’m quite handy and enjoy assembling furniture (I actually like building IKEA pieces!) and finding creative solutions for practical problems.

I’ve also worked in gastronomy, mainly in theater bars, where I learned to stay calm and friendly in busy situations and to work well with others.

I enjoy gardening, decorating spaces, cooking simple meals, and helping with creative community projects. I’m reliable, responsible, and like to do things well. I learn fast and enjoy both independent and team work.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors: I love stand-up paddling, going for long walks or ride a bike, doing Pilates or active Yoga. I’m usually not a morning person, but I’m happy once I’m up and have a good coffee! I also absolutely love animals (had a cat and some guinea pigs) and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can.
